Beth is the Founder of Mending Fences Institute. She has over 20 years of experience helping individuals and families process hurt and anger, find direction and resolve conflict. Beth works with children through seniors. Whether it is behavioral, complex family dynamics, trauma, relationship issues, learning disabilities, transitions, divorce or reunification, Beth’s experience, results and compassion are exceptional.

She use eclectic therapeutic modalities such as family system theory, individual play therapy, CBT (cognitive behavior therapy), child within therapy and empowerment strategies with a focus on practical solutions that improve the lives of her clients.

 More recently her focus has been on helping families make the transition from married couples with children to co-parenting; collaborative divorce coaching and mediation; and reunification.

She is certified as a Collaborative Coach, Divorce Mediator, therapist and teacher. As a board member of the Divorce Center, chairperson of the Advanced Parenting Education Committee, and member of the Southeastern Collaborative Practice Group, Beth guides families through evaluating the situation, understanding all parties’ perspectives, establishing ground rules for communication, and generating goals.
